Pickwick Commons premiere “Ghosts”
Every day we all face different challenges. It could be something simple or could even be life changing. We all handle things in unique ways and set up expectations for ourselves. Those expectations could be based on society, family or just our own bar that we set for ourselves. Setting those expectations also come with the anxiety of reaching those goals and the fear of not being good enough. It’s that very idea that inspired the brand new Pickwick Commons single, “Ghosts.”
As the band prepares to release their new album, “Weak Bones (out March 15th), Pickwick Commons is proud to share the hard hitting single off the record. The band shared candidly about the single, “Ghosts is a song about not living up to expectations. It expresses the anxiety everyone feels day to day as they try to achieve more than they were told they could. As a DIY band, every day you invest in your band and want to feel like you’re making a good decision, Ghosts embodies those emotions.”
“Weak Bones” will be out on March 15th, which is the same day the band kicks off their release tour. They are also stoked to announce the second leg which starts off on April 5th and runs through April 13th. Pickwick Commons is no stranger to the road; playing over 175+ shows in the past two years, including dates on Vans Warped Tour. The band explained, “We’re beyond excited to bring “Weak Bones” to some of our favorite tour destinations the week it comes out. We have been grinding on the road tour after tour, year after year, to make this release as big as possible.”
Pre-orders of “Weak Bones” are available now and keep on eye on the band’s social media as more music and exciting announcements are on the way.
