Gary Numan Releases Video For “Love Hurt Bleed”

GARY NUMAN RELEASES VIDEO FOR

“LOVE HURT BLEED”

Gary Numan - Love Hurt Bleed

LOS ANGELES, CA – OCTOBER 9, 2013 – Electro and industrial music pioneer Gary Numan has released a new video for the gloriously gothic track “Love Hurt Bleed”, featured on Numan’s highly anticipated forthcoming full length album ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’, out October 15th via Machine Music. Click HERE to watch to “Love Hurt Bleed”.

“Having the opportunity to work with Gary was tremendously exciting, as well as a little intimidating”,

says the video’s director Joel Knoernschild. “‘Cars’ is often cited as one of the first full-length commercial music videos ever, so we had  some pressure on us. We shot with 4 video cameras ranging from mid 1970s to early 2000s plugged into an old tube TV. Then we shot the TV with an Arri Alexa, one of the best HD cameras in the world. There’s  lots of mixed media in the video and all of the effects you see were done live. There are no VFX shots done in post production.”

Numan is gearing up for a run of dates in the US and UK, including performances next week at iconic Los Angeles venues Amoeba Music and The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The first date at Hollywood Forever sold out in less than 10 minutes and the second date is now sold out as well. See below for a full list of tour dates or click HERE.

Gary Numan will release ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’  on October 15th. A long-time advocate of artist independence, ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’, will be released on Numan’s own label Machine Music. Numan co-produced his 20th studio album with long-time collaborator and producer Ade Fenton and also features some sublime guitar work from Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck. The album was recorded in England and completed at Numan’s home studio in Los Angeles, California, following his permanent move to the US at the end of 2012.
