On a chilly day in early February 2005, Otep brought the Alliance of Defiance Tour to Quad City Live in Davenport, Iowa. The band delivered a fierce and emotionally charged performance in support of Otep’s sophomore album, House of Secrets.
Frontwoman Otep Shamaya commanded the stage with a relentless mix of raw intensity and spoken-word conviction, while the band unleashed crushing renditions of WARHEAD and HOOKS AND SPLINTERS alongside fan favorites BATTLE READY and MENOCIDE that kept the crowd in constant motion. Sharing the bill with American Head Charge, Candiria, and The Autumn Offering, the evening stood as a snapshot of early-2000s heavy music at its most uncompromising. Equal parts aggression, catharsis, and unfiltered passion.
