Australian metalcore band Alpha Wolf has announced that they have mutually parted ways with longtime vocalist Lochie Keogh, bringing an end to his tenure as the band’s frontman.
The band confirmed the unexpected news in a statement released to fans, saying that while they are deeply saddened by the departure, they remain hopeful about what comes next for Alpha Wolf.
“Alpha Wolf have mutually parted ways with long time vocalist, Lochie Keogh,” the band announced. “We are deeply saddened, but remain hopeful for what the future holds.”
No additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding Keogh’s departure have been disclosed. Alpha Wolf has asked fans to respect the privacy of both Keogh and the remaining members of the band as they navigate the transition.
As a direct result of the lineup change, Alpha Wolf has canceled its upcoming European headlining tour as well as all remaining scheduled performances for 2026.
The band explained that the cancellations will give them time to work through the transition before determining their next steps.
Keogh has been a defining part of Alpha Wolf’s sound and live presence throughout much of the band’s rise within the international metalcore scene. His departure marks a significant change for the group as they prepare to move into their next chapter.
For now, Alpha Wolf has not announced a replacement vocalist or revealed when the band intends to return to the stage.
“We have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming European headline tour and all remaining shows for 2026 while we work through this transition,” the band stated.
They closed their announcement by thanking fans for their “understanding and continued support.”
Further information regarding Alpha Wolf’s future lineup and plans is expected to be announced at a later date.
