Sometimes we need to be reminded why our favorite bands are still our favorite bands after years and years of loving their music. If that reminder also includes the introduction to more great music then the experience is all the better for it.
KMFDM brought Chicago native Cyanotic along for the fun and introduced hundreds of new fans to the band’s unique brand of industrial metal.
I don’t want to drag you too far down memory lane, but its been almost 27 years to the day since my first time seeing KMFDM in concert. I can promise you though that Sascha Konietzko, the band’s founder and vocalist, hasn’t lost an ounce of energy.
It doesn’t matter whom Sascha and Lucia bring on the road with them, the band remains a consistent powerhouse of industrial and heavy metal music, and one of the best live bands I’ve seen.
