Flor graced us with their presence at the Slowdown in downtown Omaha on July 13th, 2023, sharing with us a 15-song set. The Indie Pop band originates from Hood River, Oregon making their big break after venturing south to Los Angeles. Last year they were openers for the first leg of The Band Camino Tour and not far into 2023 they announced their own U.S headline tour.
Zach Grace, Kyle Hill, and Val Hoyt have been the perfect trio for this tour with Zach announcing during the show that long time band member Dylan Bauld is getting married and taking time off in preparation of the wedding.
The Slowdown was packed as flor began their show with opening song Clouds, from their Future Shine album. The light show was immersive and gave a chill feel to the vibe. Working through the setlist, Zach jumped off stage, during Back Again, for a guitar solo with the crowd adding to the unique experience. A “you just had to be there” kind of moment with the band. The entire experience was wonderful, and I am thankful for the opportunity to photograph this amazing group of people!
