Taking to Instagram today, Amy Lee, vocalist and founder of Evanescence, posted a photo that expressed her delight of what she walked away from Skywalker Sound with after a recording session.
“When you take your recording session from @skywalkersound, this is what it looks like. These ARE the droids I’m looking for!” Lee captioned the above photo.
Does this mean Lee is recording music for Star Wars: Episode VII; The Force Awakens? Or is she recording new Evanescence music?
Evanescence has been confirmed to play OzzFest Japan later this year. The band also recently announced a warm up show in Dallas, Texas to coincide with the Japanese festival.
Over the past week, Lee has also posted several shots of handwritten lyric sheets. These could be the new music she’s been recording.
Either way, we’re long overdue for a new album from Evanescence.
