With the premiere of the 5th season of AMC’s The Walking Dead just over a month away, we get another peak at what’s in store for our survivors.
Today AMC unveiled the official Season 5 poster for The Walking Dead. The artwork features Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) crouched in dense foliage, his signature Python at the ready and the accompanying tagline, “Hunt or Be Hunted.” Click here to see a larger version of the poster.
Knowing that (most) of the survivors will escape from Terminus’ cannibals in the first episode, who could be hunting the group? While many speculate the plot revolves around the 11th trade paperback, Fear The Hunters, I get the impression that Hunters won’t be another group of cannibals, but the same people who are holding Beth hostage in Atlanta. The look on Rick’s face is one of anger and fear. Is there another group out there who wants to stop our survivors from reaching the safety of the Alexandria walls?
And what’s in store for Officer Grimes? Andrew Lincoln was spotted last month driving around set in an Atlanta Police squad car. This doesn’t mean that he’ll be picking up his badge again, just that Lincoln was seen joyriding in the cop car.
The Walking Dead returns Sun., Oct. 12 at 9/8c on AMC.
