SINCLARITY INKS DEAL WITH DO IT RECORDS

YORK, Penn. – Alt-rockers Sinclarity have inked a deal with New Zealand-based boutique label DO IT Records.

“From my past experiences, I’ve always found it better to release records territory by territory,” said Sinclarity frontman Matt Holmes. “Label Director Paul Marshall has had a lot of success as an artist, promoter, and label exec in touring and releasing acts of all sizes throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. I liked his ‘outside the box’ approach and the fact that he has done music from an artist perspective. A lot of industry people only know the business from their side of the desk and it definitely helps when you work with someone that can relate to you.”

DO IT’s distribution spans the world but the label specializes in the Australasian markets. Over the past several years it has had several successful releases with notable acts such as Bone Thugs N Harmony and Bryan Rice. The label has recently added ’90s rock legends Everclear to its roster.

“I’m a music lover first and foremost with an eclectic taste in music,” Marshall said. “I have listened and enjoyed all styles of music and as a pro drummer of 15 years, I know good music when I hear it, and Sinclarity has great music.  So when looking to sign a new band, Sinclarity ticked the first box: great music.”

Sinclarity’s first release for DO IT will be a four-song EP this fall, preceded by the lead-off single/video, “Wake Up,” in September.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to make music and release it around the world,” Holmes said. “That’s what you dream about as a kid and it’s always an honor to have partners like DO IT on board to help you work towards your dreams. I hope people connect to the passion we have for our art and music.”
