Korn; Live At The Hollywood Palladium CD/DVD

After nearly 20 years and thousands of live shows, Korn still sound amazing and continue to evolve as a band. Recorded on December 6th, 2011 at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California during Korn’s Path of Totality tour, this live release shows us a band who once again incorprate multiple styles of music into their own unique sound.  What’s exceptionally brilliant is that this live album is the culmination of ten studio albums. Ten! How many band do you listen to who’ve released even half that amount?
The sonic landscape created by this album is one of the most intense and stimulating live albums I’ve ever heard. Korn puts 100% into their live shows and that determination has spread to each of their live albums. But don’t expect to hear the exact same track as on their studio releases. During the band’s live set, tracks are slightly altered, whether it’s an extrended riff, a mid-song jam session or the gutteral growl lead singer Jonathan Davis has perfected on stage.
This is the live album that every fan of true metal music should own.

To truly appreciate this release, one should listen to it as three sets. The first being The Path of Totality set.
