With songs like I’m So Sick, Sorrow, and Missing, you can be sure you’re in for a great show when Flyleaf comes to town. That’s exactly what happened at The Wheelhouse in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A huge crowd packed the venue as the band kicked off their set with explosive energy, immediately getting the audience fired up. Throughout the night, Flyleaf kept fans engaged, delivering each song with passion and intensity.
Fully Alive was easily one of the highlights of the evening. Its powerful instrumental sections, uplifting chorus, and overall energy made it a standout performance. The song’s intensity translated perfectly to the live setting and showcased everything that makes Flyleaf such a compelling band to watch.
The band’s set lasted about an hour, which felt like the perfect length. They packed plenty of songs into the performance, giving the crowd more than enough opportunities to sing along, burn off some energy, and forget about the stresses of the week.
The evening closed with the band’s cover of John Mark McMillan’s How He Loves, providing a fitting and memorable finale to an already impressive show. Overall, I had a great time. Flyleaf absolutely rocked the house, no pun intended. If you ever get the chance to see them perform live, I highly recommend checking them out. Any fan of a great rock show won’t be disappointed.
