THE GOODNIGHT KEEP CONTROL OUT NOW
Today marks the release of the debut album from The Goodnight, Keep Control. It is currently available for purchase on iTunes.  The 7 track EP was entirely self-produced, recorded, and mixed at The Goodnight’s home studio in both Montana and Los Angeles over the last two years.  All of the mixing and the majority of the production credits go to guitarist Jud.  A video for the first single “The Love Left In You” can be seen here.  Expect to see The Goodnight on tour later this year and throughout 2013.
The Goodnight is made up of singer/guitarist Dan Murphy, guitarist Jud Benner, bassist Sam Smetana, and drummer  Tim Spier.  Murphy, Benner, and Smetana spent their formative years at elementary school together before they began writing and recording music. The beginning of high school turned the small-town natives into weekend warriors. Murphy and Smetana independently booked shows in every corner of the empty state before the guys began touring throughout the rest of the country, still in their teens.  The band made their exodus to Los Angeles in 2010. While Benner refined his skills as the band’s engineer and producer, they began playing with drummer Tim Spier, former member of Say No More.
