HALF ME UNLEASH BRAND NEW ALBUM DOGMA — LISTEN
Hamburg’s metalcore powerhouse Half Me have released their highly anticipated sophomore album DOGMA, out October 23 via Arising Empire. Delivering their most ambitious, aggressive and thought-provoking material to date, the band push their unmistakable sound to new extremes, combining crushing metallic hardcore, industrial influences, relentless grooves and raw emotional intensity into a devastating statement about the world we live in.
At its core, DOGMA is a reflection on a society willingly participating in its own collapse. The album explores how fear, manipulation and manufactured division have become powerful instruments of control, shaping a world in which people are increasingly distracted from questioning the systems surrounding them. As truth and lies become indistinguishable, humanity finds itself trapped in a cycle of ignorance, obedience and self-destruction.
Drawing parallels between the rise and fall of past civilizations and the unsettling realities of modern society, Half Me confront the arrogance of believing that history cannot repeat itself. The record paints a bleak picture of a world where fear is constantly amplified, artificial conflicts keep people divided, and the struggle for everyday survival leaves little room for critical thought. Rather than offering easy answers or comforting conclusions, DOGMA challenges listeners to question what they have been taught to accept as absolute truth.

Musically, the album sees Half Me operating at their most intense and uncompromising. Ferocious riffs, crushing breakdowns, abrasive soundscapes and suffocating grooves collide with haunting atmospheres and carefully crafted dynamics. Tracks such as “Weather Eye”, “Fear Is The New Belief”, “Built On Your Blood”, “Psalm” and “King” demonstrate the band’s ability to seamlessly blend overwhelming heaviness with a distinctive sense of tension and atmosphere. The result is a record that feels equally chaotic and deliberate, showcasing a band that continues to redefine the boundaries of modern metalcore.
Since forming in Hamburg in 2018, Half Me have rapidly established themselves as one of the most exciting and uncompromising forces in the European heavy music scene. Following their critically acclaimed debut album SOMA in 2023 and the subsequent OPIUM EP, the band have accumulated millions of streams across digital platforms and built an increasingly dedicated international fanbase. Their relentless work ethic and explosive live performances have taken them across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan, sharing stages with internationally renowned acts including thrown, Northlane, The Ghost Inside, Resolve and Rise Of The Northstar.
With their growing international presence and a reputation for delivering some of the most punishing live performances in modern heavy music, Half Me have continued to build momentum with every release. Now, DOGMA marks another defining step in their evolution, cementing their position among the most compelling emerging acts in the genre.
The album’s release also coincides with the band’s ambitious international Crusades touring campaign, taking their uncompromising live show across the United States, Australia and Europe throughout 2026. More than just a series of concerts, the Crusades extend the central idea behind DOGMA: not a call to arms, but an invitation to look beyond accepted narratives and challenge the structures that shape our reality.
With DOGMA, Half Me deliver far more than another heavy record. It is a dark, confrontational and deeply unsettling statement about collective responsibility, manufactured fear and the possibility that the damage has already been done. Uncompromising in both sound and message, the album captures a band at the height of their creative ambition, refusing to conform, refusing to remain silent and demanding that listeners look behind the dogma.DOGMA is out October 23rd, 2026 via Arising Empire.
