The Antichrist Superstar is back at it again.
The now self-described “Never-ending Astral Vampire” is teasing new music once more. This seems to be a never-ending cry-wolf cycle for the God of Fuck who back in 2019 claimed a new album would be out after the completion of the Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies tour with Rob Zombie, and coincide with his North American 2019 Autumn tour.
He once again teased a follow-up to 2017’s lackluster “Heaven Upside Down” in February of this year with nothing coming to fruition as the COVID19 Pandemic shut the world down.
Now, with his latest Instagram post, a David Bowie-eqsue style Manson is warning us to “Prepare”. But prepare for what? At this I think we’d take any kind of new music from Manson, whether that’s a full album, and EP, or just another one-off cut from the vault. Regardless, I’m sure we’re all excited to hear what Marilyn Manson will sound like when collaborating with Shooter Jennings.
