KT Tunstall released her 6th studio album WAX,” out now via Rostrum Records. WAX,” landed at #30 on Billboard’s Independent Albums Chart and the single “The River” sits at #19 on Billboard’s AAA Songs Chart.

KT’s latest body of work is a trilogy of albums following the themes of soul, body and mind. Released in 2016, the first album ‘KIN’, covers the theme of the soul and received rave reviews. The second album in the trilogy ‘WAX’ was released in October 2018 and focuses on the body and our complex relationship with physicality. ‘WAX’ was featured on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist in a dozen countries worldwide, receiving critical acclaim from both national publications and specialist music outlets in both the UK and USA.

Recently KT has been awarded the Inspirational Artist gong at the Women In Music Awards. She was also chosen as the first ever female Grand Marshal (following the likes of Sir Sean Connery) to lead April 2018’s annual New York Tartan Week parade. In May 2018 she and Mike McCready, of legendary multi million selling Pearl Jam, also released a cover of Tom Petty’s huge hit single “I Won’t Back Down” with proceeds going to Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation.

In support of her new music, KT has spent last year and this year touring worldwide.  She will be making an appearance at one of UK’s biggest festival Glastonbury along with a show with John Butler Trio and Hall & Oates. See all upcoming US tour dates below

Singer-songwriter, KT Tunstall enchants and engages with every song, and that’s why she continues to resonate not only among fans, but throughout pop culture at large. Scotland born and now Los Angeles based, KT Tunstall emerged with her 2004 classic debut Eye To The Telescope spawning such international hits as “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See”, which won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song in 2006. That same year she won her first BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist, and earned Grammy and Mercury Prize nominations in 2007. KT has released five albums internationally, to date: Eye to the Telescope (2004), KT Tunstall’s Acoustic Extravaganza (2006), Drastic Fantastic (2007), Tiger Suit (2010), and Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon (2013).

In 2016, KT returned with her vibrant album KIN. After a period of healing, soul-searching, and a change of scenery, 2016 hailed the arrival of the first of a trilogy of albums, the critically acclaimed UK top 10 album – ‘KINKT has described that record, reviewed as a “powerpop gem” by Rolling Stone, as the “full-blooded, spiritual follow-up” to her multi-platinum debut album. The trilogy evokes, separately and in sequence, spirit, body and mind. With ‘KIN being her phoenix-from-the-ashes ‘spirit’ album, 2018 will mark the second offering of that trilogy – her 6th studio album, WAX her ‘body’ album.
