Northern Invasion Artist Spotlight: Stitched Up Heart

Heading into its 4th year, Northern Invasion continues to bring some of the best Rock and Metal artists currently trekking across the continent.
During the 2016 festival, the LCD screens at Northern Invasion’s main stage played snippets of Stitched Up Heart’s official video for their single “Monster”. Their intense video was my first exposure to the band, and lead me to their Omaha concert a few weeks after. Billboard.com premiered their song “Event Horizon” in June of 2016. The band’s major label debut, the album Never Alone was released on June 17, 2016 and debuted in the Top 10 of both the Billboard Heatseeker and Hard Rock charts
Founded and fronted by the wildly talented Alecia ‘Mixi’ Demner, Stitched Up Heart are one of the band’s I’m most excited to see this year. Making their debut live performance at Northern Invasion, Stitched Up Heart are hitting the spring festival circuit in support of their full length debut, Never Alone.
While everyone is excited to see TOOL, Alice In Chains, and Avenged Sevenfold, it’s the lesser known bands, like Stitched Up Heart, that I’m really excited for. Seeing these bands in an intimate venue is spectacular, witnessing them in front of tens of thousands of people is beyond memorable. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Stitched Up Heart will perform their brutal cover of Drowning Pool’s “Bodies”.
Hit up the band’s website for news, music and tour dates!
