APRIL 11, 2017 – Flint, Michigan’s KING 810 have announced details of a new series of limited engagement live events for their album, LA PETITE MORT OR A CONVERSATION WITH GOD, which will see the band offering a boundary pushing live experience in intimate settings. The tour is slated to kickoff June 9^th at Columbus, OH’s Park Street and will see KING 810 joined by special guest Gost on select dates (see itinerary attached). Fans are in store for a decidedly unique performance each night, with KING 810 engaging audiences in their intensely personal and often contentious world. Each evening the band will be joined by a special guest performer, with each venue evoking the dark and potent themes of LA PETITE MORT OR A CONVERSATION WITH GOD. Far from a retread of their acclaimed debut, LA PETITE MORT – translating to “The Little Death” – is an inspired, holistic body of work that marks a profound evolutionary leap for the restless and driven souls of KING 810. The title itself is a reference to the duel themes of the records: the real life violence and despair of Flint that builds the basis of frontman David Gunn’s narrative and secondly, the steady desensitization and terminal closing down of the human spirit experienced when confronted with those real life conditions.
