Korn Debut New Song At Chicago Open Air 2016

As if witnessing KORN play in front of tens of thousands fans wasn’t enough for those that attended the inaugural Chicago Open Air festival, the band threw a special curve ball into their setlist in the form of a new song. “Rotting In Vain” made its live debut when the band played the July 16th date of the festival. It’s not been confirmed whether or not the track will appear on their upcoming as-yet-untitled album, but chances are good that it will.
I had the chance to speak with Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch before the band played the 2nd day of  Northern Invasion’s 2016 date. When I asked about the band’s next album, Welch was excited to talk about it. Without going in to too much detail, he told me, “It will melt your face off.” Welch continued by saying, “We’re back in the zone.”
The video for “Rotting In Vain”, directed by Dean Karr, will premiere later this summer.
