Spring has sprung, and spoilers and previews are blossoming like cherry buds!
How excited are for Shadows Over Innistrad? The recently released Blessed vs Cursed duel deck gave us some clues as to what we might see in the next block, but if you’re a good detective, you’ve already seen almost a dozen spoiler cards already.
At 297 cards, the set is the largest release since 2008’s Shadowmoor.

The announcement of WotC’s Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon find players returning to the gothic plane of Innistrad. But how much has it changed since Sorin Markov left in search of Sarkhan and Ugin? Will it be tainted by Zendikar’s Eldrazi? Has Avacyn been corrupted by an unknown force?

Set Name: Shadows over Innistrad
Block: Shadows over Innistrad (1 of 2)
Number of Cards: 297

Shadows Over Innistrad will also feature the first Werewolf Planeswalker in the game’s history. No word yet on Arlinn Kord’s abilities, or if she’ll be a flip card similar to the original block’s Garruk, but I’d suspect a new mechanic for this unique Planeswalker.

On the plane of Innistrad, humanity is beset on all sides. Horrors stalk in the shadows. Terrors scratch at doors in the night. Only grim determination and staunch faith in their guardian archangel, Avacyn, keep them alive in this nightmarish realm. But odd things are afoot: the forces that had protected them have been twisted into something dark and strange.
