We were all awaiting the show of Type O Negative. It got quiet, and than……from the speakers we heard ‘Its a small world’….hmmm Peter came out and jokingly said ‘come on guys, come on out’ than the band started playing The Beatles ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ It was a solemn version of the song. The show was great! Peter Steele being drably silly responding to the crowd chanting ‘YOU SUCK YOU SUCK’ Peter saying….’Do you think being a rockstar is easy??’ As he played the bass while drinking red wine. Throughout the show he used the bottle of wine to play his bass with. With his height he dwarfed over Kenny Hickey. Kenny was right on all nite with his guitar playing. Josh Silver was hiding in the dark playing keyboards. Johnny Kelley was tearing up the drums. Later he came out to toss out a cymbal signed by the whole band. They did play my favorite…Christian Woman, however I wish they wouldve played others that I like alot Cinnamon Girl, My Girlfriend’s Girlfriend, I Don’t Wanna Be Me, and one of my other favs I wished they played was….I Know Your Fucking Someone Else…
It was a great show, just wished there was more.
