Festival season will soon be upon us excitement builds for the mid-west’s biggest rock festivals.
Northern Invasion will be the largest of the three mid-west rock/metal festivals this year. The inaugural 2015 one date festival has upgraded to two full days for 2016.
It was announced earlier this year that Rob Zombie, and Lamb Of God will be headlining KIWR’s Rockfest in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Friday, May 13th. Both artists are slated to play one of Northern Invasion’s two dates.
With the release of who’s playing Rockfest 2016 in Kansas City on May 14th, we can expect those artists to play Northern Invasion’s second date.
Unofficially confirmed by Rockfest KC’s line-up, these are the artists to play May 15th, the second day of Northern Invasion; Disturbed, Seether, Ghost, Sixx:A.M., Sevendust, Pop Evil, Saint Asonia, Hell Yeah, Trivium, Red Sun Rising.
My prediction is that Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Chevelle, Korn, and Lamb Of God will be playing Northern Invasion’s May 14th date.
It’s still anyone’s guess which dates Lacey Sturm, Clutch, Baby Metal, Butcher Babies and a dozen other amazing acts will be playing.
