MISSION STATEMENT

We believe record *will* happen, and yet we STILL have 35 days to reach *every fan* – imagine if 1000, 1500 or more of the 28,000 of you supported the new album!  This is the ONLY WAY we can continue to get you music and hopefully shows. The more this blows up, the better chance we have to partner with others to get out there. it is UP TO YOU TO SEND A MESSAGE to the powers that be that KT MATTERS. This will be the only way we could even *think* about playing shows.  Once the record is out, we get about 40 Google alerts a day on ways to download and not pay for the album, it ends up on YouTube and we get “plays.” Spotify pays nothing.   We share this so you know also this happens for *every* artist you love.  

We LOVE that you LOVE the music, it’s nice to know there are MILLIONS of “plays” out there, it is just that in this day and age, thank goodness we have KICKSTARTER to even have a shot. The ONLY way to go further is if the KT COMMUNITY believes enough to support Now! 685 Fans, 26,000 to go!!! WE LOVE YOU!

We still have to buy all the merch, hoodies, albums, pay for design, pay for vinyl production, mastering and design ($4000!) – cover our out of pocket costs – pay for someone to do fulfillment, and postage will easily run into the thousands.  We would LOVE to get a new website, video, do a record release show.  TOURING costs about $8000 per week.  Offsetting those costs takes time and momentum.  So you can imagine what it costs to release and tour a record.  Our GOAL is to have fans show their support by pledging on KICKSTARTER – so that it shows we matter. THE NUMBER OF YOU CONTRIBUTING MATTERS!   Every single fan counts.  This could help get us more publicity, show promoters (festivals 2016!) YOU WANT US, show companies that we can be a partner.  IT IS IN YOUR HANDS!!!
