SOLD OUT!

Having the opportunity to see one of your favorite bands once a year is amazing. Getting to see them twice? Unbelievable. Three times is almost unheard of.
Having already performed to a sold out crowd at 89.7 The River’s Rockfest 2015, it was no surprise that Hollywood Undead sold out their headlining gig at Sokol Auditorium on November 19th. The band has performed to a sold out Omaha crowd since they first played here in 2009. The surprise was having the band announce a second date following the now sold out Novemebr 19th show. Rarely do bands announce a second date added to a current tour. A lot of that had to do with tonight’s show being originally set as the last night of the band’s 2015 Fall Tour in support of their current release “Day of the Dead”.
Joining the band on their two night adventure in Omaha would be Chile’s The Reaktion, and Omaha’s own Arson City.
Rarely I find myself drawn to a local band, but Arson City isn’t your average local band. These guys have been making music individually for over a decade. Most of them cut their teeth while playing in Omaha’s Emphatic. Having them all come together as Arson City is truly magical. Even though the band itself has only been around for a few years, these men have mastered the art of a live concert experience.
Even though still relatively new to the music scene, the band continues to evolve. Their live cover of Alex Clare’s “Too Close” has become a fan favorite and gives the chance for those unfamiliar with the band’s music to sing-along.
Chile’s The Reaktion took the stage next. Managed by Slipknot’s #0, Sid “DJ Starscream” Wilson, the band is finding their niche here in the states. The trio, currently touring in support of their “Selknam” release, recently played Knotfest ’15 and used that momentum to springboard into Hollywood Undead’s fall tour as direct support.
No doubt having Wilson in their court has helped the trio shape their current sound. Touring with Hollywood Undead gives the band a chance to reach a broader fan base. Loudwire.com recently had this to say of them; “IF YOU WANT TO SUCCEED, IT HELPS IF YOU ROCK! THAT’S SOMETHING THAT UP-AND-COMERS THE REAKTION KNOW ALL TOO WELL AND THEY’RE READY TO GIVE A TASTE OF.”
