If you were one of the 16 million people who watched the Season 5 finale of The Walking Dead, you may have seen the chilling teaser for the smash hit’s spin-off, Fear The Walking Dead.
What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in “The Walking Dead”? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question.
The short teaser opens with calming views of Los Angeles, and a radio host commenting on a “strange new strain of the flu virus.” The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, has said numerous times that we’ll never find out how the initial outbreak started that lead to the zombie apocalypse, but hinting that the walker symptoms started out mimicing the flu virus is brilliant.
“If you’re not feeling well, go home… take care of yourselves.”
