Bad Meat (2011)

Ordered to a delinquent camp by their exasperated parents, a group of wayward teens fall foul of a deadly virus that infects the guards and turns them into flesh-eating monsters! Gristle and gore are on the menu-as are the kids in this Brat Camp slaughterhouse massacre.

This sat on my shelf for (obviously) a long time. Honestly because I wasn’t expecting it to be anything worth watching. I’m glad I gave it a chance.
It’s great seeing Dave Franco (Warm Bodies), Jessica Parker Kennedy (The Secret Circle) and Joe Dinicol (Diary of the Dead) in some of their early roles, running for their lives and being eaten. Veteran actor Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural and Being Human) pulls of a great role as the cruel head master of the camp.
The story is rather brutal and full of not-so-sublte sexual undertones. The splatter effects are above average for a “b-movie” and the acting is far superior to anything that you’d see on the syfy channel.
It’s ultra gore filled and guaranteed to be a cult classic!
