With tickets in high demand for their Great American CULT Tour and fan propensity at a near frenzy, NYC’s BAYSIDE will provide another glimpse of their sixth studio album CULT, which is being released on February 18th viaHopeless Records, through their new single “Time Has Come”. “Time Has Come” stays true to the Bayside tradition, stapled together with a series of signature power pop structures, such as ballad-based, sing-along chorus and strategically placed anthemic hey’s and ho’s. The band recently launched a cover contest for “Time Has Come” where fans were given the tabs and lyrics to the song and asked to create their own unique interpretation before hearing it. The tour kicks off on March 5th in Cleveland and circles around the States concluding at The Palladium in Worcester, MA on April 5th. Formed in 2000 in Queens, NY, Bayside has previously released five studio albums (2004’s Sirens and Condolences, 2005’s Bayside, 2007’s The Walking Wounded, 2008’s Shudder, 20011’s Killing Time), numerous EPs, and a live album (2008’s Live at the Bayside Social Club). The band has toured the world and played on multiple Vans Warped Tours. With the release of CULT on February 18th, the breadth of their history seems to have culminated in this sixth studio album.
