Los Angeles, CA – October 24, 2013 – Citi and Katy Perry celebrated the launch of her highly anticipated third studio album, PRISM, last night with an electrifying live performance at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The special concert event produced by CBS Radio benefited the Young Survival Coalition. Prior to the show, Citi gave Citi ThankYou cardmembers the opportunity to get up close and personal with the pop star at an intimate acoustic set and Q&A with Katy.
During the pre-show for Citi ThankYou cardmembers, Perry treated thousands of lucky fans to an intimate acoustic performance of her hit songs “Roar”, “Unconditionally”, and more. During the pre-show performance, Perry participated in a Q&A where Citi ThankYou cardmembers could ask Katy questions against the beautiful backdrop of the Hollywood Bowl.
The evening concluded with a thrilling live performance by Katy Perry as well as performances by Tegan and Sara, Ellie Goulding, Sara Bareilles, Kacey Musgraves, and Bonnie McKee. To close out the night, all performers joined Perry on-stage for a massive encore group rendition of her smash #1 single “ROAR.”
Katy Perry cemented her status as a best-selling superstar with the global success of her second studio album, Teenage Dream, which debuted at #1 in 8 countries and spent over two years on Billboard’s Top 200 album sales chart.
