Nov. 26, 2013 – Internationally renowned for alluring stage productions and songs of heartwarming inspiration, Celtic Woman presents their new chapter of musical enchantment in HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. Vocalists Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden, Méav Ni Mhaolchatha and Celtic violinist Máiréad Nesbitt perform timeless holiday favorites (“Silent Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear,” “Joy to the World”) with their signature Celtic Woman style under the distinct musical direction of Emmy®-nominated music producer David Downes. CELTIC WOMAN: HOME FOR CHRISTMAS- LIVE IN CONCERT is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning November 30, 2013 (check local listings).
HOME FOR CHRISTMAS – LIVE IN CONCERT, directed by Russell Thomas and filmed at Dublin’s Helix Theatre, features Ireland’s finest musicians comprised of a 36-piece orchestra and the 40-member Philharmonic Choir. HOME FOR CHRISTMAS tops the Billboard Charts once again where the album (original release 2012) returns back to #1 on the Billboard World Music Chart (catalogue) and the new DVD debuts at #3 on the Billboard Top DVD Chart.
