Papa Emiritus V returns on March 11th, 2022 with the band’s 5th full length release. While we’ve previously heard “Hunter’s Moon”, and today’s release of “Call Me Little Sunshine”, the album’s other cuts have since avoided the inevitable leaks that plague the internet age. Rumors have spread though that Impera is heavier than previous releases, oozing with unadulterated Satanic themes, catchy, and has Meliora style production.
On a sadder note, rumors are flying that a few of the Nameless Ghouls have tested positive for Covid19, and the band’s 01/20/2022 Jimmy Kimmel Live performance has been cancelled.
Impera’s themes will reflect the falls and failures of Empires past. The album’s artwork, while unconfirmed by the band, is adapted from famed occultist and magician Aleister Crowley’s signature “Mysticism” portrait.
